Lalit Sahani, a resident of Vasant Vihar, was arrested on Thursday, police said.
During interrogation, it was revealed that accused Lalit Sahani was illiterate and used to transfer gas from big cylinders to smaller cylinders and sell them on high rates to street vendors, petty shopkeepers and to the people of nearby JJ clusters.
He also said that he had purchased these cylinders illegally and used them for his business.
