A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his father and sister at Shamli town in the district, police said today.
The accused Vikrant, a B Tech engineer was arrested last evening after he confessed that he committed the crime under depression, Superintendent of Police A K Rai told reporters here today.
The accused told police that he was unemployed and he wanted to eliminate his family, he said.
48-year-old Bijendra and his 20-year-old daughter Vaishali were killed while his 45-year-old wife Suman was seriously injured when unidentified miscreants attacked them while they were asleep at their house in Shamli on July 21, 2014.
