A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and daughter at Mansurpur village in this district today, the police said.
The body of the woman and the child was found by the side of Delhi-Dehradun national highway near the village last month, SP (city) Ombir Singh said.
Following an investigation, the woman's husband and his accomplice were arrested.
During investigation, the accused confessed to have strangulated to death the woman and the child, the police officer claimed.
Further investigation into the case is underway, the SP said.
