A person has been arrested for allegedly molesting a married woman here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon when the victim was on her way to pick up her son up from his school. The accused grabbed her hands from behind, the victim said in her complaint.
The accused ran away when the woman raised an alarm, but was later nabbed by the victim's husband, who handed him over to police.
The man identified himself as Birpal and is a resident of Bharat colony here.
A complaint has been filed and investigation has begun into it, they said.
