Man arrested for murdering woman

Delhi police has arrested a HIV infected man from Bihar who had brutally murdered a woman here to take revenge with her son whom he supected to have sent an AIDS affected sex worker to him.

The man, who was on run for over months, was arrested by a special team of Delhi police on July 7 from his native village in Bihar. He was produced in a local court for transit remand and finally brought to Delhi, said Vikramjeet Singh, DCP, Outer district.

The accused got to know from common friend that that Anil had sent a HIV positive sex worker him, the officer said.
 

The accused, had stoned to death Anil's mother Shanti Devi on April 21 in Vijay Vihar, the body was found in a pool of blood. Stab wounds were also found on the body probably caused by a sharp edged weapon, he said.

During the investigation, police also found an eye witness who had witnessed the crime from his residence..

Victim's son Anil was known to the accused. Both had worked as auto drivers and were habitual of visiting sex workers.
