A person was arrested with five illegal firearms and 15 live cartridges by the Rajasthan Special Operations Group from Jhunjhunu district, police said today.
Hazari Lal Meena was arrested and illegal arms and ammunition were seized from his house in Jhunjhunu,IG SOG MN Dinesh said.
The accused's house was raided by the SOG on information about the illegal arms from a criminal Bahadur Singh, who is in police custody, he said .
Meena has been arrested under relevant provisions of the Arms Act and an investigation has been initiated in the matter, he added.
