A 46-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping his step daughter, police said.
The incident happened in January and the victim is five months pregnant now, police added.
"The accused was arrested on Saturday. The victim is 15 years old," said Women's Police Station inspector Sudiksha Naik.
As per the complaint filed by an NGO, the girl was raped by the accused when there was no one else at home, the official said.
The accused has been charged for rape under relevant sections of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the official said.
