A man was today arrested by the city police after his step-daughters accused him of committing rape three months back, when the family was living here.
The victims, aged 14 and 10, had alleged that when the family was staying in Gurgaon, their step-father Sachin had assaulted them sexually, ACP Poonam Dalal said, adding, the family had recently shifted to Delhi.
A Gurgaon Police team arrested Sachin after being informed by the Delhi Police about the case, Dalal said.
Further investigation is being carried out by the Gurgaon police, she said.
