A 9-year-old boy was today sexually assaulted by a 44-year-old man in Indira Nagar here, police said.
Hafeez, who works at a function hall, lured the boy, a standard third student, by offering him chocolates this afternoon, took him to a bathroom and sexually assaulted him, police said.
"Following a complaint by the boy's parents, a case under section 377 of the IPC was registered against the accused, who has been taken into custody," said Langer House police station inspector M D Javeed.
