A 25-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly eve-teasing a minor girl in Lathiya village under Rohaniya police station here, police said.
The incident came to light when the six-year-old victim's mother, an Anganwadi work, returned home and found the man allegedly teasing her daughter, they said.
She then informed her neighbours and the police, which reached the spot and arrested the accused identified as Sonu Gupta, who is her neighbour and resident of same village, they said.
On the complaint of the girl's parents, an FIR was lodged and further investigation was on, police said.
