A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly making calls to an official of a telecom company posted here and threatening to bomb the office, police said today.
On Friday, Anirudh Dey had made repeated calls to the official threatening to bomb the company's office here, DIG cyber crime Vimal Dhawan said.
The phone numbers were tracked and the accused was arrested from his rented accommodation in Baddi yesterday, the officer said, adding Dey, a resident of West Bengal, was working as a security guard in a company.
A case has been registered and investigation is on. The accused will be produced in court tomorrow, Dhawan said.
