A man was arrested Sunday after smack worth Rs 4 crore was allegedly seized from his car, police said.
Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Singh said accused Rehmat Ali (25) tried to speed past the police checkpoint when asked to stop.
"The vehicle was, however, stopped and on searching it, we found smack worth Rs 4 crore in the international market," he said.
"Rahmat has said that he was going to Devalji in Rajasthan to deliver the consignment to a person called Chintu Musalman. Further investigations are underway to ascertain details of the contraband," Singh informed.
