A smuggler was arrested from Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir and around 40 litres of illicit liquor recovered from his possession.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at Sakta Chack in Kathua district yesterday and arrested Som Dass and recovered 40 litres of illicit liquor from him, police said here today.
A case under Excise Act has been registered against the accused, they said.
