Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai police has arrested a 41-year-old man in Sewri area here and seized 500 gm of mephedrone or 'MD', a popular narcotic drug, worth Rs 10 lakh from him.
Worli unit of ANC arrested Haroon Rashid Mahida after laying a trap on Zakeria Bunder road in Sewri last evening.
Mahida had come to the area to supply the drug to some of his customers, said senior police inspector Ninad Sawant of ANC.
A local court today remanded him in police custody till May 6.
