Man awarded life imprisonment in 2006 murder case

A local court today sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a case of murder of a school teacher in 2006.

Additional sessions judge Anil Kumar held the accused Sushil Kumar guilty of committing the crime and imposed a penalty of Rs 10,000 on him.

In January 2006, a primary teacher, Brijesh Kumar, was shot dead by Sushil in Ratanpur village of Khodare area, the prosecution said.
