Man beaten to death by 2 in Alwar

A 25-year-old man was mercilessly thrashed to death with sticks allegedly by two persons over past rivalry in Alwar, police said today.

Bishen Saini and his aide Rohitash had past rivalry with the victim, Sunil Luhar, a resident of Indira Colony in Alwar, SHO Ram Singh of Kotwali police station told PTI.

The incident took place when the two were at Saini's residence. Following an altercation, Saini, who has some criminal cases registered against him, beat Luhar with the help of Rohitash, leading to his death.

The accused fled the spot after dumping the body on roof.

Police registered a murder case against Saini and Rohitash, and recovered the weapon used in the crime.
 

Luhar's body was handed over to his family after post- mortem, police said.
