A man was allegedly beaten to death by his cousin over some monetary dispute in Jalalpur area here today, police said.
Ram Asrey Patel was allegedly attacked by his cousin Ranjit Patel with an iron rod and beaten to death over some monetary dispute in Lakhmipur village, Additional Superintendent of Police Ramji Yadav said.
The accused managed to flee from the spot and efforts are being made to arrest him, he said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, the ASP added.
