A man was today taken into custody by police for his "suspicious behaviour" near Yelahanka air base here, the venue for the country's premier air show 'Aero India 2017.'

Police said the man, who was carrying some SIMs, was being questioned, but ruled out any terror angle.

"No terror threat at all. It's a simple inquiry about a labourer," City Police Chief Praveen Sood said in a tweet.

"Please don't carry uninformed news. There is no terror angle at all....Repeat no terror angle," he said in response to TV reports about the enquiry.

Aero India 2017 is scheduled to be held from February 14 -18, 2017.
