A case has been filed against a man for allegedly repeatedly raping his niece after abducting her from Madhya Pradesh to Mahoba district in Uttar Pradesh, police said today.

According to police, the girl was kidnapped by the accused from Khuredi village under Jujhar Nagar police station in the district to Uttar Pradesh.

"The accused kidnapped the girl after making her drink some juice laced with sedatives and then repeatedly raped her there for almost three months," police said.

The girl, however, managed to escape from there recently and reached her native village and narrated the ordeal to her parents, police said.

The parent along with the girl went to Mahoba and registered cases under various sections of rape and abduction against her relative uncle.

The case has been handed over to the Chhatarpur police who have launched a probe.
