An FIR has been registered against a man, a day after he allegedly shot dead his 25-year-old sister over family dispute at Sikri village here, police said today.
Mohsin has been booked on charges of murder for shooting his sister Reshma (25) and injuring his mother Tari (50) and sister-in-law Farzana over a family dispute here, SP Rakesh Jolly said.
The accused had an argument last evening with his married sister over a family issue. Flying into a rage, he shot her dead and injured his mother when she tried to rescue her daughter, he said.
Efforts are on to nab the accused, Jolly added.
