A man from neighbouring Nashik district has been booked for allegedly raping two minor girls here, police said today.
The accused, whose identity has been withheld with police, had come to visit his relative in Wagle Estate area here on June 7 where he managed to befriend two girls in the neighbourhood, aged 9 and 6, according to a statement issued by police.
He then managed to bring them home by alluring them to play mobile games and allegedly committed the act, it said.

The duo, belonging to different families, returned to their house and confided in their parents. They narrated to them the entire incident, police said.
Based on complaint lodged by the parents of the two victims, an offence was lodged last night against the accused under IPC section 376 (rape), relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The accused is currently at large and efforts are on to nab him, it said.
