A 48-year-old man and a youth sustained injuries when acid meant for use in toilets was thrown at the former by a woman, who was later arrested, police today said.
Police said Sornakumari threw the acid at Lakshmanaiah, her sister's husband, after she was allegedly pestered by him over some domestic issue late last night.
She chased him when he ran out of her house and threw the acid. However, he ducked and a portion of the acid fell on the boy walking on the roadside, RK Nagar Police Inspector, V Devendran told PTI.
