A man walking along a thoroughfare with the severed head of a person, whom he had killed following a drunken brawl, created a flutter among locals here today, police said.
Bhoominathan hacked one Muthupandi to death during a fight at a state-run TASMAC liquor shop and chopped the latter's head off, they said.
On seeing Bhoominathan walking on the market road with the decapitated head, passers-by informed the police, who arrested him.
