Police today detained a man from Santosh Nagar area for allegedly posing as an high court advocate and duping youths to several lakhs of rupees by promising them clerical jobs in various courts.
The Marketing Intelligence Team of Central Crime Station (CCS), a wing of Hyderabad Police, apprehended Md Gazani at Santosh Nagar and found that he collected huge amounts in the range of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.50 lakh from each of the victims.
The accused cheated youths in the name of providing them clerical jobs in the high court and city civil courts and other government departments, a release from Hyderabad Police stated.

To earn easy money, he approached gullible youth and persuaded them to give their original certificates and around Rs 1.5 lakh each under the pretext of providing "good job" in courts and other government departments.
"After collecting the money he used to evade their (victims') calls and also shifted his residence. Four of the victims have approached police so far and inquiry is underway to know the details of other victims whose original certificates are recovered from the offender," as per the release.
