Man claiming to be MLA's brother thrashes trainee Inspector

A man, claiming to be brother of a Samajwadi Party MLA, has allegedly thrashed a trainee Inspector here, police said today.

The trainee Inspector Davender Yadav has lodged complaint FIR in this regard at Chakeri police station.

Yadav said in his complaint that he was deputed at Jajmau near Siddhnath temple and was diverting the traffic. In the meantime the accused, a resident of Defense Clonoy, came and started moving his vehicle towards temple, they said.

When he stopped the accused, the person claimed that he is Faizan Solanki, the brother of MLA Irfan Slonaki and tried to drive towards the temple. Subsequently, the official prevented him and got thrashed by the accused and his accomplices, police added.
 

SSP Shalabh Mathur said that he directed SSP city to probe the matter and assured stern action would be taken against the culprits.

Confirming that Fazan Solanki is the name of his brother, the MLA said his brother has not misbehaved or thrashed any inspector.

I will ask the inspector to identify his brother, Solanki added.
