A 44-year-old man has allegedly committed suicide by jumping from an escalator at a shopping mall in Thailand.
Samret Sangteerapeetikul fell to the ground floor from the second floor escalator of the Siam Paragon shopping mall on Friday night, police said.
He succumb to his injuries yesterday, police said, adding they believed it was a suicide.
"At first we thought he had just slipped from the escalator.But turns out, the doctors said he was suffering from depression," they said.
