A 34-year-old man along with his minor daughter allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train following an argument with his wife near Shyamgarh area in Jhalawar district, police said today.
Dhanraj Harijan, an employee of Bhawanimandi municipality, along with daughter Nisha late last night committed suicide after an altercation with wife over some issue, SHO of Bhawanimandi police station, Hemraj said.
Harijan, a native of Rawatbhata town in Chittorgarh district, was staying at his in-laws residence in Mela Medaan Harijan basti area of Bhawanimandi, he said.
Prima facie domestic problems was the reason behind the extreme step taken by Harijan, the SHO said.
The bodies of the two were this morning handed over to their family members after postmortem.
