A 40-year-old man who was suffering from depression allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself here, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Balwinder Kumar, a resident of local Khera colony.
Kumar was allegedly suffering from depression and ended his life by hanging himself in his house last night, police said.
Kumar's wife Nachhattar Kaur, on entering the room, saw her husband hanging and reported the matter to police.
Police handed over the body to family after post-mortem.
