Babujan Ansari, a native of Shivganj in West Champaran district, lodged the complaint with Kumar during his Janata Durbar yesterday alleging that the young IPS office abused and assaulted him at Shikarpur police station on June 27 last and threatened him to frame in a case for being an ISI agent.

The complaint further alleged that the officer had abused him earlier on June 11 last after he came out of the office of the State Human Rights Commission appearing before it in a case of human rights violation lodged by him against Kumar.

Ansari said that he had borne the wrath of the officer on April 13, 2012 when the latter stopped his motocycle in Narkatiyaganj town and started abusing him for questioning the reason behind stopping his vehicle.

The chief minister yesterday handed over Ansari's complaint to police officials for necessary action.

Director General of Police Abhayanand said that police would look into the matter.
