A 33-year-old man today allegedly consumed poison in front of police headquarters here following which he was hospitalised, police said.
Hisar resident Sunil Kumar took the extreme step as police was not taking any action on his complaint against the money dispute he was having with another person, they said.
It appears that Kumar consumed some poisonous substance to put pressure on police to take his side, police said.
He was shifted to hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, police said.
No case has been registered in this connection so far, they said, adding, further investigation is underway.
