The fast track court judge Sunil Kumar Singh sentenced Fakira Mahto of Purkhopatti village to life sentence for killing his wife with sharp-edged weapon on November 16, 2009 following an argument between them.
Mahto's four-year daughter, an eyewitness to the incident, identified her father as the murderer of her mother.
