A middle-aged man was crushed to death by a speeding train in Anantnag district of the Kashmir Valley, police said today.
The deceased, who seems to be in his 40s, is yet to be identified. Police said that he came under a moving train last evening at Wangund near Dooru, resulting in his death on the spot.
A case has been registered and the body is in a hospital in Qazigund for identification, police said.
