The youth, Manoj Kumar, who was admitted to the Ambe hospital yesterday in critical condition after he was beaten up by an auto-rikshaw driver, died immediately after a doctor gave him injections, his family alleged in the police complaint.
Following the incident, the family members held a protest and pelted stones on the hospital building.
A case has been registered against the hospital administration, police said. The doctor who attended the youth was absconding.
