Suspected diarrhoea claimed life of a 19-year-old youth in Hargovind Nagar locality here, officials said today.
Meanwhile, more than 400 residents have been affected by diarrhoea in Makkar and Indira colony, the officials added.
District Epidemiologist Dr Ramesh Bhagat said 35 new cases of the disease were today brought to the special medical camp setup in the Giaspura locality.

He said Ajay Kumar died of suspected diarrhoea in Hargovind Nagar loaclity which is adjacent to Giaspura.
During the last four days, 352 cases of diarrhoea were reported in the camp, he said.
Dr Manjit Singh, spokesperson of the health department, claimed that situation is under control.
Except 18 patients, all others who were admitted to the civil hospital were discharged after the treatment, he said.
Over 4,000 packets of ORS and chlorine tablets were distributed in the affected colonies, he said.
