: A 53-year old man died of H1N1
(Swine flu) infection at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, a top official said today.
P Srinivasan, a resident of Mannady here was referred to the hospital on January 16 from Apollo Hospitals with high fever.

The man was treated and various tests were done done and the patient tested positive for H1N1 infection.
"He had severe respiratory distress when he was admitted here. We provided all the requisite treatment as per the protocol. He died yesterday," Dean, Madras Medical College and RGGGH Dr R Vimala told PTI.
His body has been handed over to his relatives.
