Man dies of swine flu in Nashik

A 45-year-old man succumbed to swine flu in the city.

Bajirao Gokul Chavan, a resident of Dhankawadi in Yeola taluka of Nashik district, was undergoing treatment at a private hospital here where he died yesterday, Savargaon's medical officer Dr Suresh Kamble said today.

After Chavan showed symptoms of swine flue, his blood and other samples were sent to Mumbai's SRL laboratory where he tested positive for the H1N1 virus, Kamble added.
