Man drowns in Choral river

A man drowned in Choral river while his four companions were saved by the locals, police said.

The incident took place in the limits of Simrol police station in the district yesterday.

Azim (25), the deceased, and his four friends had entered the river for bathing though none of them knew how to swim, said Simrol police station in-chagre Pradeep Bakshi.
