A man drowned in the sea off Nalasopara coast near here Thursday afternoon while four of his friends were missing, a police official said.
They were bathing in the sea after celebrating Holi, the official said.
While the body of one of them was fished out, the other four were yet to be traced, he said, adding that a search operation was on.
