A 30-year-old man was today electrocuted in Pratap Nagar Colony here when he came in contact with a high tension wire, police said.
The incident occurred when Shishu Pal Negi was loading his luggage on the rooftop of a bus, SHO Khoda Police Station, Umesh Singh Yadav said.
He was travelling to his native place, Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand, along with his friends, Yadav said.
The impact was so severe that he fell unconscious and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead, SHO said, adding the body has been sent for post mortem.
