A 28-year-old man from
Wada tehsil in the district was found dead in Vaitarna river here, police said today.
Wada police station ASI U S Wavhal said the deceased has been identified as Santosh Tikhade and his body was fished out of the river last evening.
He was in search of job, he said.
A case of accidental death has been registered and the body has been sent for post-mortem, the officer said, adding investigations are underway.
