A 35-year-old man was found dead with injury marks on the head at his house that was locked from inside in Badarpur area today afternoon.
Umesh was living in the area with his wife since last few years. They owned three houses in the same locality, police said.
Police said that on receiving a call from one of the residents of the area, they reached the spot and rushed Umesh to a hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
It is suspected that he was murdered.
Police are scanning the CCTV footage from adjoining areas to ascertain who the killers were. A few people are also being questioned.
