A court in Howrah district today sentenced a man to death for murdering four children, including three of his own, five years ago.
Additional Sessions Judge of Uluberia, Subhasis Ghosh, convicted Raish Qureshi for the murder of his two daughters and a son and the son of his sister-in-law and awarded capital punishment to him.
Qureshi, a 40-year-old butcher, suspected that the three children were not his and that was the reason of the murders, according to prosecution.
