A local court today sentenced a 27-year-old man to life for murdering a person in 2013.
The prosecution case was that Perumal threw stones at his neighbour Arumugam (56) and smashed his face with a big stone, killing him, following an altercation over collecting water on May 10,2013.
Erode District judge Elango sentenced Perumal to life.
