A fast-track court here today sentenced a man to life imprisonment for killing his wife for dowry in April this year.
Additional Sessions Judge Fast Track Court, Ambala, Vimlesh Tanwar, sentenced Naresh for the murder of his wife, prosecution said.
Anjna, a resident of Yamunanagar district was married to Naresh on March, 2012.
According to the compliant filed by Anjna's brother Rinku, she was being constantly harassed by her in-laws since the marriage.
On April 25, Rinku got a telephone call from in-laws of his sister, in which they told that his sister had committed suicide by hanging self, according to the complaint.
Later, a case was registered and police filed a charge sheet in the case.
