A man was sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for killing his five-year-old son.
Additional district Judge Babbu Sarang awarded life sentence to Hari Ram Singh, a resident of Dhinwar Pura village in Heempur area, for killing his son Krishna last year.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on him.
Singh had hacked his son to death with a spade. Singh's wife Shakuntala along with other family members were witness against him in the court.
