Man gets ten-year RI for circulating fake currency

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 11 lakh on convict Imran Abdulla Syed.

Syed was arrested with fake currency having a face value of Rs 11.21 lakh at the IGI airport here, the CBI spokesperson said.

"The seized FICNs were allegedly claimed to be received from a Pakistani national. After completion of the probe, CBI filed a charge sheet on December 21, 2010 against accused Imran Abdulla Syed and other accused, a Pakistani national," the CBI spokesperson said.
