murdered allegedly by six assailants over an old enmity in Bajrang Dhora area, police said today.
The victim, Ismail, was on his way to a nearby place in a taxi yesterday when the accused identified as Chhelu, Teja Ram, Dungar Ram, Bhagirath and two others caught him and attacked with sharp-edged weapons, Additional SP Satish Chand Jangid said.
Following the murder, relatives and friends of the victim sat on a dharna in front of the SP's residence last night demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
"Efforts are being made to arrest the accused," Jangid said.
