A man today hacked his wife to death and attacked his 8-year-old son in inebriated condition in Barwatola village of Sonbhadra district.
Bhuili Devi (35) was killed by her husband Jagjivan Prasad during an altercation between the two, they said.
Prasad also attacked his son Parmeshwar (8), who got injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
A case has been registered against the Prasad, who is absconding.
