A 45-year old man has been
arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a mentally challenged woman at Bhatkal near here, police said.
The woman who had been staying with her brother used to be alone in the house after he left for work. Taking advantage of this, the man had allegedly been abusing her, police said.
The accused was produced before court yesterday and remanded to judicial custody, they said.
