Man held for killing shop employee

A 53-year-old man was arrested today by the Navi Mumbai Police for allegedly killing a man working in a private shop in Rabale and injuring his three brothers in a scuffle.

According to police, Dhananjay Bhoir was having a dispute with the owner of the general store in the locality.

The incident occurred in afternoon when Bhoir walked into the shop and stabbed Jalaram Chowdhary (26) using a knife and a sickle, before attacking three others, said senior police inspector Pradip Tidar of Rabale police station.

The trio were seriously injured in the attack.

Jalaram died on the spot, he said.
 

Bhoir was booked under various sections of the IPC including 302 (punishment for murder).
